Isadora Duncan 1877-1927 RIPAn American, born in San Francisco, Isadora Duncan revolutionized dance. She's considered to be the mother of MODERN DANCE. She lost her husband to suicide and her two children were drowned in a car accident. Isadora died in a freak accident herself. She was known for wearing long flowing scarves. While a passenger in an automobile, her scarf became tangled in the wheels and she was strangled to death.
